It began with a few barbed remarks, a couple of snide comments, one blogging competition and a crazy coincidence — before they knew it, a relationship was born between Walla Walla Union-Bulletin’s Sheila Hagar and Jeremy Gonzalez.
She had his mom’s name, he had her son’s name and age. He was a smarty pants and acted like a kid much of the time. She was wiser and understood social norms better. Just like, well, a mom … almost his mother.
